Does anyone know the name of the actual submarine used in the 1959 movie "Operation Petticoat"? It appears to be a Balao or Gato class World War II boat and in the movie has the number 393 on the Conning tower. The movie was filmed around Key West Florida (doubling as the Philippines in the movie). Beyond that I can't seem to find any information on this sub.
